About the VIC Councils Sustainable Supply Initiative

This collaborative project between the Supply Chain Sustainability School, ECOBuy, the City of Port Phillip, City of Whittlesea and City of Wyndham, funded by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, Victoria, is a step towards:

  • smarter supply chains
  • more efficient businesses
  • reduced environmental impacts
  • better social and community outcomes
  • improved profitability at local, state & national levels
  • greater economic, environmental and social competencies.

By registering with the School, you can access hundreds of free sustainability learning resources including those most relevant to businesses that supply to Victorian councils, to help you get ahead.

It's everyone's job to protect the way Victorians live, learn and work by sharing knowledge and acting on matters that concern our environment, our economy and our community.

So we’re well on our way, but more needs to be done. Sharing the knowledge is just the start.
