Green Building Institute

Identifying and addressing the risk of modern slavery practices in the operations and supply chains of Catholic building projects is the highest priority for ACAN. Therefore, partnering with the Supply Chain Sustainability School to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goal 8.7, the eradication of modern slavery, is essential.

Australian Catholic Anti-Slavery Network (ACAN)

As the demand for healthy comfortable and low energy homes increases in Australia, we need to build capacity to support the burgeoning green economy. Partnering with like-minded organisations will help us build the right type of capacity amongst practitioners to meet the market demand, delivering superior indoor environments for all Australians.

APHA CEO, Paul Wall

Becoming a Partner is a simple process. Send an email to Hayley Jarick requesting to join and she will let you know the next steps.

No. Although we understand it could look like that. Larger organisations took the lead to help develop the School initially but now they’re intent on bringing in Partners from across the value chain. The School Partners welcome and actively promote becoming a Partner to companies from all sizes and sectors in the built environment.

No. The School is free at the point of use. We will not charge your supply chain for any of the online resources. The School is funded by Partner fees and other funding mechanisms as and when appropriate. The School’s accounts are transparent, monitored by the Advisory Board and available for review by Partners.

In short, it means that you are focused on developing the sustainability skills and knowledge of your workforce and supply chain. The School Partnership is a legally constituted partnership, and all Partners are required to sign a Partner Schedule which forms part of our Constitution, as well as our Code of Ethics.

Our Partners

The School is a collaboration between clients, contractors and suppliers who have a mutual interest in building the skills of their supply chain. They pay for the School, so it's all FREE for you.
