Sustainability in September Seminar Series

The Sustainability in September Seminar Series consists of 13 live events in non-Australian-east-coast cities. The majority of School learning materials are available online on-demand. We also appreciate the social value and the economic and environmental cost of hosting live events. When live events are held, we recognise that most occur on the Australian east coast. These seminars were deliberately located in other locations in a small gesture towards equitable access to sustainability education across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. Within these locations, our venue procurement criteria included functionality, cost, access to public transport, accessibility and social or community enterprise status.

These seminars are zero-waste events. Please BYO pen, notebook, travel mug, water bottle, snacks and meals. We strongly encourage the use of reusable containers.
No prior learning or knowledge is required.
Each event has a small fee to cover the cost of running an in-person event.
These are face-to-face events only. No live-streaming options will be available. Each event will be recorded, and we will cut a ‘best of’ for on-demand viewing.

If you have any questions or suggestions for future events, please contact us.
