Project Sustainability Commitments
GLC’s Partnership with the Supply Chain School
All high-impact suppliers must complete at least one module but are encouraged to explore all modules listed below.
We understand that to make a real impact, we must bring our supply chain along on our sustainability journey. A large proportion of effort and spending across the project is delivered by our subcontractors and on the materials supplied. Therefore, we must share our knowledge and commitments with our subcontractors and encourage them to favour sustainable options.
The Project is committed to educating the supply chain through mandatory training of the Project’s high-impact suppliers.
We aim to educate our supply chain to develop the skills and knowledge of everyone working on the project to help them make more informed, sustainable and cost-effective decisions, and remain competitive in a market that is moving towards favouring sustainable solutions.
The Supply Chain Sustainability School offers a unique opportunity to complete online training modules that relate to our sustainability commitments. The focus of our training for our supply chain is aligned with GLC’s sustainability policies.
Thank you to all GLC suppliers and subcontractors for contributing to more sustainable outcomes on the Western Tunnelling Package.
